Protein Foods & Oral Health
A study posted in Inside Dentistry June 2015 reported that the amino acid L-arginine which is found in meat, some fish, dairy products, soybeans, seeds, nuts and grains may help control oral biofilm.  L-arginine is known to inhibit bacterial coaggregation which could help stop biofilm development and break down existing biofilm.   A diet with more proteins compared to processed goods and carbohydrates could result in less cavities and gum disease.  Choose your meal and diet wisely.
