For those of you that did not know February 28th is National Tooth Fairy Day.  Surprisingly data has been compiled over the years as to how much money the tooth fairy leaves on average for a child's tooth.  Due to economic downturn possibly the tooth fairy in 2015 is actually providing 24 cents than the previous year.  The US average is $3.19 per tooth.  This is now the second year in a row that the tooth fairy has reduced the compensation she leaves under the pillow.  The study went on to state that 32% of respondents reported one dollar was left by the Tooth Fairy which was the most common.  20% stated the Tooth Fairy left $5 under the pillow, and only 5% said she left $20 or more for a tooth.  On the opposite end 10% of survey respondents stated their child was left nothing from the Tooth Fairy.
